I received my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Washington University in 2015. I was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Award for the Speech-Language Pathology program at Western Washington University in recognition of my academic achievement, teaching excellence, contributions to the community, strength of research, leadership abilities, and promise for the future.
I am registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and Clinically Certified with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). I also hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I am also a member of Speech and Hearing BC. I am listed on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) and specialize in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I am Hanen certified in It Takes Two to Talk® and More Than Words®.
I am passionate about my work with children and their families and enjoy creating a fun and supportive environment to help children blossom into confident communicators. I have worked with children ranging in age from 15 months to 18 years. I have experience with the assessment and treatment of articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language, social skills, fluency (stuttering), voice, literacy, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I also have experience working with adults in the areas of accent modification, fluency (stuttering), and voice.
